The “Bier Garten” is Open!

Ober Gatlinburg is gearing up to welcome guests to the top of Mount Harrison for their 11th Annual Bavarian Oktoberfest held September 25-November 1.

Whether you’ve attended several times in the past or this year will your first, you are in for a real treat!  Performing traditional dances in authentic costumes, the Smoky Mountain Oompah Band offers free entertainment during multiple shows each day.  Plan to arrive early to order from the fantastic German inspired menu featuring Bratwurst, Schnitzel, Strudel, Sauerkraut and more!  Top of your meal with a trip to the Bier Garten and purchase a “Beer Card” to sample several of your favorites.  Oktoberfest will also offer crafts, souvenirs and apparel in outdoor vendor tents.

All Ober Gatlinburg activities will open and operating, as well as the indoor shopping mall, and the views will be as spectacular as ever.  Plan to spend all full afternoon or the entire day and have a wonderful time!
