Free Museum and Family Cafe

A ‘must see’ free attraction in the Smokies just 17 miles away! The Bush’s Beans Visitor Center has excellent reviews and is definitely worth the 25 minute ride. Enter the museum for a free tour featuring audio and video of how Bush’s Beans came to be, get your affordable souvenirs from the gift shop, and wrap up your visit with lunch in the cafe.

The museum tour includes a presentation featuring the Bush family history and how the family business got started, a bean’s journey from start-to-table, and follows a timeline of the company’s growth. Once in the gift shop, you’ll find great souvenirs including a t-shirt in a can, aprons, recipe books, Bush’s memorabilia and of course, beans!  You’ll want to top your visit off with a meal at the Bush’s Family Cafe.  The menu offers a good variety of choices include hot sandwiches, lunch plates, salads, a host of sides and their famous Pinto Bean Pecan Pie.  Yum!
