Updated 2022: Want to plan an exciting date night? Choose mountain coasters! You have not one, and not two, and not even three choices. Between Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, there are NINE alpine-style mountain coasters in the area. Each is its own unique experience, so maybe you’ll do all seven? Book your stay and plan away!
Things to Know Before You Go:
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Coasters run rain, shine or snow.
- Pricing is generally per rider, not per cart.
- Speeds: 25-30 mph maximum. You control how fast you go!
- Track Time: 2-10 minutes. Hourly and all-day passes available too.
- Weight limits: The weight maximum for single or two riders is 375 lbs. combined, or 330 lbs. if it’s been raining and the track is wet.
