The newest treat to hit downtown Sevierville is the arrival of Red’s Soda Fountain & Ice Cream shop. The moment you step inside, you’ll be immersed in nostalgia and immediately drawn to the free-play jukebox. And the welcoming greeting from a ‘soda jerk’ is the cherry on top!

Phosphates, floats, shakes and malts are the name of the game at Red’s, but you can also get ice cream by the scoop and incredible sundaes. (Red’s serves Irveys Ice Cream – currently the ONLY retailer serving this creamy goodness which is locally handcrafted in Knoxville!!) You’ll find all the standard ice cream flavors and a few that may be new to you including Chocolate Cake Batter, Cinnamon Bun, Amaretto Chocolate Chip and Espresso Crumble and others. Have a favorite shake or malt in mind? We think you’ll dig their specialty Elvis, PB&J or Buster Brown if you decide to indulge in something new.

Never had a phosphate? Then it’s a must try! A phosphate is a combination of soda water, phosphoric acid and fruit syrup flavoring: a hand-mixed soda that leaves a little tingle on the tongue! If you’ve ever wanted a Nectar, Banana, Blackberry or Coconut soda, you’re in luck at Red’s.

After you’ve stepped up the counter to order your soda or shake, take a look at the food menu featuring cold salads, a couple sandwiches and their 1/4 pound all beef hot dogs. Whatever you do, don’t let this streamlined menu deter you from stopping in for a bite. When you’re being served food created by the Seasons 101 restaurant, you know whatever it is it’s going to be good! Here is a sampling:
