New Restaurants in Gatlinburg
J.O.E. & Pop’s Sub Shop
Menu | On Facebook
When you’re traveling along East Parkway (Hwy. 321) in Gatlinburg, keep an eye out for this brand new sub shop located across from Food City at light #2B. J.O.E. & Pop’s is open every day of the week from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday & Saturday. Stop by to build your own sub with a choice of 7 sliced deli meats, 5 cheeses, and a nearly endless selection of fresh toppings. Gluten-free wraps available too! Even if you’re not in the mood for a sub, there’s plenty more to choose from such as a loaded Hebrew National hot tub, salad sandwiches, Reubens and fried chicken sandwiches. J.O.E. & Pop’s offers cold, canned beer and Pepsi products.
Mama’s Chicken Kitchen
Menu | On Facebook
Right next to J.O.E. & Pop’s is his sister restaurant, serving up that famous fried chicken that you’ll find at Mama’s Farmhouse Restaurant in Pigeon Forge. Although Mama’s Chicken Kitchen is smaller in stature, it’s big on taste with Mama’s homemade side dishes too. What goes better with fried chicken than macaroni and cheese, dumplins, green beans, or coleslaw? If you are a fan of wings, Mama has those too and serves them 7 ways. Grab a plate to eat your meal in or order by the bucket to go.
These two new Gatlinburg restaurants are brought to you by the Johnson Family who have served you for many years at Alamo Steakhouse & Bennett’s BBQ.
