Halloween in the Smoky Mountains is not just for kids! There are lots of spooky fun stuff to do for adults that like to get in the Halloween spirit.
Ripley’s Fright Nights Gatlinburg: Various Dates
This year is no exception when it comes to producing a special Halloween show at Ripley’s Haunted Adventure. The theme is “Movie Monster Madness” and begins at 6 p.m. every Friday-Sunday in October and on Halloween night. The dates are October 1-2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-31. Children under 6 not permitted and show is included in your regular admission.
Shocktober at the Space Needle: Various Dates
The guys from the popular Impossibilities have put together a spectacular “Wicked” show that combines mystery and unexplainable phenomenon with a little magic to embody all things Halloween. October dates are 6-9, 11-15, 20-23, 25-31 with 7 p.m. showtimes.
Pigeon Forge Island Halloween Carnival: October 29
All new for 2016 is a themed Halloween Carnival at The Island. The event is held from 5-9 p.m. and includes aerial circus acts, acrobats and live entertainment. Arrive in costume and receive half price rides! You’ll want to head over to Margaritaville’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere bar for live music and dining on the deck until 11 p.m. or have a bite at one of these Island restaurants.
Downtown Gatlinburg Trick or Treat: October 31
Although you might be a little old to carry a bag and ask for candy, there’s no reason not to dress up and hit the downtown Parkway for a whole lot of Halloween fun! There will be kids, couples and entire families donned in costumes and filling the street. Enjoy watching kids having a blast, checking out elaborate costumes and maybe even having an adult beverage from the Loco Burro rooftop so you’ll have a great view of all the action.
